Just who is this Dean Hurley, anyway?
A graduate of Seton Hall University, Dean Hurley is an interaction designer with nine years of experience. Initially dabbling in HTML/CSS in the late 90s, he quickly picked up additional skills working for the university's web design department.
Later, Thomson Financial recruited Dean where he spent two and a half years as an interface designer. In this capacity, he designed various web/software applications infusing visual design with a positive user experience. In 2005, Dean was hired as a user experience designer at IntraLinks, Inc. and, later, became the team's manager.
Currently, Dean is a senior designer at LexisNexis where he coordinates the user experience of martindale.com. He also is a part-time design consultant and teaches at Seton Hall University.
